Community Events
Community events cover a wide range of events; including but not limited to panel discussions, workshops, and campaigns that align with NeuroPride’s mission to foster acceptance, accessibility, and understanding of neurodiversity. We also host events to create spaces for neurodivergent students to connect, socialize, and build support networks. These are essential for fostering a sense of community among neurodivergent students.
Our Events are designed to empower neurodivergent and disabled students by providing platforms to share their experiences, raise awareness about issues affecting their communities, learn about the community, and advocate for change.
What to Expect:

Universal Design: Events designed with neurodivergent and disabled students in mind and hosted in locations with open space & low sensory input. Appropriate adjustments will be made if a chosen locations does not meet conventional accessibility standards.

Inclusive Environment: Spaces that are open and welcoming to all students regardless of disability status, race, gender, sexuality, etc.

No Etiquette: Barring harmful/bigoted language or actions, no expectation on the "correct" way to participate in an event.
